And the regular season is in the books!
We’ll do some end of year review stuff at some point, but for now, let’s just focus on the 6 playoff teams.
#DUB
The Damhas lost their final game, forcing them on the road for the playoffs, but they stayed healthy for the voyage to London.
#IST
At long last, Istanbul is getting healthy–and they don’t even have to play next week. Still, Franco Harris, Ray Lewis, and Jack Butler all returned to the practice field this week.
#LON
London has been the healthiest team in the league, a trend that continues as they look to host the wild-card game. They welcome DeMarco Murray back behind Emmitt Smith and Marshawn Lynch, with the only injury being to little-used TE Tyler Ott.
#NYG
The Royal Giants edged out Dublin 42-41 in the final game of the regular season, sending them into a well-earned bye week with some momentum. Workouts over the bye week were largely uneventful, with New York welcoming back Don Chandler to punt.
#RIO
The most important news out of Brazil was the return to health of TE Tony Gonzalez.
#TOK
Tokyo’s injury woes haven’t really slowed down, as WR Justin Gage will miss the rest of the playoffs. They brought in Chris Williams to round out their receiving corps. More importantly, Ryan Clady, Terrance Knighton, and Jason McCourty are all back for their game in Rio as well.
