The draft has three rounds: first, The Big Round, where teams are allowed more discretion over who to draft. This is in reverse order of the standings, and the earlier you draft, the wider the pool from which a team can select. Players can move directly into the starting lineup from this draft.
This round occurs before the injury assessments and roster moves for the week.
The rest of the draft includes players released earlier in the season, and is used to replenish the taxi squads. These rounds occur after the roster moves for the week, during which teams are limited to 10 players on the taxi squads, using this draft to get back to twelve.
